Listen! Laugh! Cry! As nationally renowned storytellers and performers entertain us at the Chesapeake Storytelling Festival on September 16, 2017 at Chesapeake College.
Listen to Bil Lepp tell his tall tales Get a peek behind the scenes with Ben Franklin as he and his cohorts formed our great nation. Be there when Gwendolyn Briley-Strand returns to the Shore to introduce Ms. Harriett Tubman.
Kim Witkamp will add music and impeccable humor to her honey coated voice as she relates stories of Americana. And South Carolinian Tim Lowry is returning this year to bring us true Southern Hospitality dripping with Sweat Tea.
In between the performances- and all day long- enjoy smokey barbecue, a beverage or two, and shop the wares of the local vendors that will be on site. Doors open at 9:00 am. One ticket gets you in and out and back in again, in case you can’t stay the entire day.
Tickets are $45 per person. For further information call the Queen Anne’s County Arts Council at 410-758-2520 or go to www.chesapeakestorytelling.com
