WILMINGTON, DE (October 19, 2017)

The Delaware Art Museum is pleased to announce that it will offer free admission on Saturday, November 11, 2017, from 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. to all veterans and active military personnel with ID in honor of Veterans Day.

“The Delaware Art Museum proudly supports our military and their families,” says Sam Sweet, Delaware Art Museum’s Executive Director and CEO. “As a special tribute and thank you to the men and women who are serving in our country’s armed forces-or who have served in the past-we are opening our doors for free on Veterans Day.”

The free admission is available to all active and retired members of any branch of the U.S. armed forces. Offer is good for one admission per person. Programs, Studio Art Classes, or Workshops do not apply.

Always on view are the Museum’s renowned collection of British Pre-Raphaelite art and the Museum’s spectacular collection of American art and Illustration.
