OCTOBER 16, 2017 – REHOBOTH BEACH, DE

The Rehoboth Art League’s 33rd Annual Holiday Fair—Fine Craft Show returns the first weekend in November to offer area residents and coastal visitors creative shopping in an historic setting. The event, to be held November 4 and 5, 2017 brings more than two dozen fine craft artisans to the Henlopen Acres campus to showcase and sell their creative products. From ceramics to jewelry, and from wearable fiber art to glass, the Holiday Fair has something for everyone.

The artwork of (clockwise from top left) Connie Ballato, Aimee Petkus, Scott Ennis, and Lisa Chambers, among others, will be for sale at RAL.

Community members will have the opportunity to stroll the art league grounds, visiting artisans’ booths in three different buildings—the historic Homestead, the Chambers building, and the main gallery. Food and drink will also be on campus, courtesy of The Point Coffee House and Bake Shoppe, offering breakfast and lunch options in the Children’s Studio, and Dogfish Head, who will offer a selection of craft beer in the ‘Paynter’s Pub.’ Finally the Rehoboth Art League will have raffle tickets available for “Tango,” a piece donated by local artist Lee Wayne Mills. Tickets are $5 each or five tickets for $20, and proceeds of the artwork raffle will support RAL’s exhibitions and education programs.

Show hours are Saturday and Sunday, 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Tickets are $5 per person for the weekend, and include one raffle ticket for a chance to win an item donated by participating Holiday Fair artists. Children under 12 are admitted free to the event.

For all the schedules and additional information about the show visit the RAL web site at www.rehobothartleague.org or call 302.227.8408. Connect with us on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.

RAL thanks this year’s event underwriter, Dogfish Head, whose support makes the 2017 Holiday Fair Fine Craft Show possible. The event is also supported, in part, by a grant from the Delaware Division of the Arts, a state agency, in partnership with the National Endowment for the Arts. The Division promotes Delaware arts events on www.DelawareScene.com.
