The 20th Annual Rock Hall FallFest with its usual mix of crafts, delicious food with plenty of oysters, and great music will be packing a week’s worth of entertainment into one day, Saturday October 14, 2017 from 10am-4pm.

There has been bad weather four of the past five years. This year’s forecast is for a mostly sunny day. Regardless of the weather the fun and entertainment will still be had.

Original craft vendors will line Main Street with an assortment of fiber art, homemade soaps and jewelry, wooden sculptures, folk art and much, much more.

There will be plenty of activities for all members of the family and kids of all ages. A free Kid’s Court will be at the Villages.

With the Mainstay as one of the event’s sponsors, once can be sure that there will be plenty of musical entertainment. There will be stages at both ends of Main Street, at the Mainstay and Bayside foods. Each of these two stages will have bands playing throughout the day.

Lost Northern Tribe, a New Orleans Zedeco band, will open the day at the Mainstay stage, with Chris Owen and the Knowdown at the Bayside Stage. The Dixie Power Trio will play sets on both stages as will Sweet Megg & the Wayfarers and the Lost Northern Tribe.

A favorite at FallFest is the Catsonville Steel Drum Band. Last year in the pour rain nearly a 100 people came out to see them play. They will be performing at the Bayside Stage beginning at 1pm.

All the music is free, except the evening concert at the Mainstay. Contact the Mainstay at MainstayRockHall.org for tickets.
