On 2/15/18 at approximately 0259 hours MSP Easton Barrack responded to a report of a motor vehicle collision westbound US RT 50 at Rabbit Hill Road Talbot County MD involving a white Mercury Marquis. The lone occupant/driver was identified as Ronald Lloyd Bateman, 40 years of age of Elizabeth City, NC.
Bateman was flown by MSP Trooper 6 to Shock Trauma in Baltimore MD with serious injuries. Westbound lanes of US RT 50 in the area of Rabbit Hill Road were closed for approximately one hour. Talbot County Sheriff’s Department, Cordova Fire Department and Easton Fire Department responded to the incident. The investigation in ongoing.
