Queen Anne’s Chorale Fall Open House

Music Queen Anne's

Do you love to sing? So do we! Come sing with the Queen Anne’s Chorale as we begin our 37th Season entertaining the public. Queen Anne’s Chorale is an all-volunteer, non-auditioned community chorus. The ability to read music is helpful, but not required. The purpose of the Queen Anne’s Chorale is to enhance the lives of Bay Area residents through a variety of quality choral music. We welcome singers high school age and above in our community chorus where music skills development is provided in an atmosphere of camaraderie.

The Queen Anne’s Chorale Open House and first rehearsal for our holiday concert, Holiday Spirit, is Monday, September 9, 2024, at the Centreville Methodist Church, 608 Church Hill Rd., Centreville 21617. New and former singers are asked to report at 6:15 pm. Returning singers are asked to report at 6:30 pm. A reception will begin at 8:30 pm. Dues for the semester are $40.00. Subsequent rehearsals are held every Monday from 7-9 pm. Holiday Spirit will be presented at the Todd Performing Arts Center at Chesapeake College on Saturday, December 7 at 7 pm.

Drawing from upbeat seasonal repertoire such as Calypso Lullaby, Let It Snow, and It’s the Holiday Season, Queen Anne’s Chorale’s Holiday Spirit will include our traditional audience sing-along and reception as part of the fun.

Queen Anne’s Chorale is supported in part through grants from the United Way of Queen Anne’s County, the Queen Anne’s County Centre for the Arts, and the Maryland State Arts Council, an agency dedicated to cultivating a vibrant cultural community where the arts thrive.
