Do you want to learn to paint with acrylics but don’t know where to start?
An acrylic painting by instructor Ron Lightcap who will be teaching “Introduction to Acrylic Painting” at the Rehoboth Art League – Contributed PhotoCome to the Rehoboth Art League and we will get you started! In the six-week class “Introduction to Acrylic Painting,” local instructor Ron Lightcap will introduce students to the basics of painting. First, students will learn drawing foundations through exercises in perspective, light source and composition with the goal of completing a drawing study. This completed drawing study will then be used to create an acrylic painting masterpiece with students learning painting techniques such as blending, tinting and adjusting opacity. The class will be held on Thursdays, February 1 through March 8, 2018 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. The cost of the class is $150 for members and $185 for non-members.
