Rehoboth Art League
Come indulge your inner artist at the Rehoboth Art League by taking “Oil Painting” with local artist Joe Terrone. This class is for beginners as well as more seasoned painters and will take place on Tuesdays from January 23 through March 13, 2018 from 6:15 to 8:45 p.m. at the Art League.
This eight-week class will give you the tools you need to analyze and create a work of art and give you the skills to take your painting to a new level. Each class will begin with a specific discussion topic such as color theory, composition, the importance of values, drawing skills and perspective. We will also learn how to read a tube of paint, what kind of brushes you need as well as what alternative substrate can be used. You can work from still life, photos or your imagination, in either an objective or non-objective style. Individual instruction will be given to each student to help develop a specific plan for growth. The cost of the class is $215 for members and $250 for non-members.
