Come support Easterseals and your favorite political team, as they “mix” it up as guest bartenders at the Columbus Inn in Wilmington on Thursday, February 15 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. While serving drinks like the Majority Leader Mule and the Minority Leader Margarita, each team will be competing for the most tips to see which side can raise more money for their political volleyball team in the 13th annual Democrats vs. Republicans Volleyball Challenge on March 3, 2018.

Among those bartending for the Democrats (as of 2/6) are: House Majority Leader Valerie Longhurst, Rep. John Viola, Rep. Bryon Short, and Wilmington Mayor Mike Purzycki.
Bartending for the Republicans (as of 1/27) are: Senate Minority Whip Greg Lavelle, House Minority Whip Debbie Hudson, Rep. Mike Ramone, Rep. Kevin Hensley and Senator Anthony Delcollo.
The bartending event is just a preview of the fierce competition that can be witnessed when the two political parties face-off for the 13th year at the Easterseals/CAI Volleyball Challenge. On Saturday, March 3rd at 8:30 a.m., the two teams will take the court at William Penn High School in New Castle. The Republicans are currently in the lead, 7 to 5.
