The 11th Annual Día de Fútbol is set for Sunday, April 8, 2018 from 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., in Kirby Stadium at Washington College.
All children are invited: Come with your family and friends to play soccer, participate in a reading activity, speak in English and Spanish, and get to know students and professors from the college. Lunch and beverages will be available for everyone. Children should wear exercise clothes and shoes that are good for playing on artificial turf.
There is free parking on campus the day of the event. In case of rain, the event will be in the Johnson Fitness Center (JFC) of Washington College.
Día de Fútbol is supported by Washington College, the Department of Modern Languages, the Department of Education, the Office of Intercultural Affairs, the Global Education Office, the Athletic Department, the Spanish Club, the Soccer Club, Pi Lambda Theta, and the Campus Christian Fellowship.

El Día de Fútbol será de 9:30 a.m. a 1 p.m., el domingo, 8 de abril, 2018 en el estadio (Kirby Stadium) en el campus de Washington College (300 Washington Ave. en Chestertown).
Todos los niños están invitados: vengan acompañados de sus familias y amigos para jugar fútbol, participar en la lectura de libros, converser en inglés y español, y conocer a estudiantes y profesores de la universidad. Almuerzo y refrescos serán proporcionados para todos los participantes. Los niños jugadores deben llevar ropa deportiva y zapatos tenis o tacos que son específicamente para jugar en pasto artificial.
Estacionamiento (parking) gratis en el campus el día del evento. En caso de lluvia, el evento será en el Johnson Fitness Center (JFC) de Washington College.
