2018 Friday Nites in Caroline Concert Season a Great Success

Caroline Music

Friday Nites in Caroline wrapped up last week with local flavor! Colonel Richardson High School’s Revolution Blues ensemble, a collaboration of talented students, teachers and parents, treated an enthusiastic crowd to great blues and rock music at the Federalsburg Branch library.

From the jazz sounds of acoustic powerhouse Ultrafaux and the Charles “Rahmat” Woods trio to the perennially popular bluegrass sounds of Flatland Drive, Friday Nites 2018 had something for everyone. The Bumper Jacksons brought their unique folk sounds, while Walt Michael and Company’s group featured old-time hammered dulcimer. Children were treated to their own concert, an interactive musical experience with percussion instruments at the Uncle Devin Show.

Friday Nites programs are always free to all attendees, thanks to the generosity of series sponsors Caroline County Council of Arts, the Caroline County Public Library and Caroline County Recreation and Parks. Additional support comes from Towers Concrete, Caroline County Public Schools, Tri Gas & Oil, Best Western Denton Inn, Eastern Shore Regional Library and the Maryland State Arts Council.
