Alcohol ink on tile by local artist Ginny Barney – Contributed PhotoGo from beginner to artist in one day! Alcohol Ink is an amazing medium that is just now beginning to be noticed. Alcohol inks are acid-free, fast-drying, highly-pigmented inks that works on a wide variety of materials and porous surfaces. In the “Alcohol Ink on Tiles and Yupo Paper” workshop at the Rehoboth Art League on Saturday, June 9 from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., participants will learn various techniques to create gorgeous, vivid paintings. No previous painting experience is necessary. Students will leave with five completed projects: three tiles, a greeting card and a small picture. The workshop instructors are local artists, Ginny Barney and Barbara Buford. All materials are included in the registration fee of $100 per person.
