17th Annual North Beach 5K and Crowning of the 10 Sisters Queen

The 17th Annual North Beach 5K will be held on Sunday June 24th, 2018 at 8:00 AM starting and ending at North Beach Restaurant located at 125 McKinley St. (on the bay), Dewey Beach, DE 19971. North Beach is home to the famous Dewey Devil, great live music and good food! The run is the third in the 10 Sisters of Dewey Beach Run/Walk Series. The 2017 Queen of the 10 Sisters of Dewey Beach and judges Greg Martini, Jules Woodall and Queen Leeann Waltz. The 2018 selection and crowning of the Queen of the 10 Sisters of Dewey Beach will be held following the run/wallk. If you want to enter the contest contact barb@races2run.com. The course is USATF certified. Entrants receive a gender-specific tech shirt, giveaways. Gift certificates go to overall male and female and masters male and female winners. Awards go to top three in five year age categories 9 and under to 80 and over and top male and female walkers. The fastest beach house also receives a prize. See website for details. Day of race registration opens at 7:00 AM. Cost is $25 in advance and $30 on race day. Guest tickets for the great post-race party are $5 and do not include the run, only the cheering section!
