In the four-week class “Introduction to Acrylic Painting,” local instructor Ron Lightcap will introduce students to the fundamentals of acrylic painting including composition, color theory, and basic painting techniques while creating a dynamic and beautiful seascape. In the intimidation-free, fun and relaxed environment of the Art League, participants will come away with a deeper understanding of this medium and its expressive possibilities. The class will be held on Thursdays, July 12 through August 2 from 6:15 to 8:15 p.m. The cost of the class is $100 for members and $135 for non-members.
