Bethany Beach, DE – The first annual Bethany Beach First Responders Sports Weekend, which includes the 6th annual Bethany Beach First Responders Triathlon-Duathlon-Aquabike, is planned for Saturday, September 22 and Sunday, September 23, 2018 featuring Bethany Beach’s first Half Marathon. The events are presented by Focus Multisports, known for their epic events featuring iconic finisher medals, professional production and festival-like atmosphere, consistently wow participants. In addition to the new half marathon event, this year’s offering have been expanded to include new courses, two-person half marathon relay teams, free first-timers clinic for Triathletes, finishing medals, overall, first-timers, masters, Elite, Clydesdale, Athena, First Responder, and age group awards, and after-parties hosted and sponsored by Grotto Pizza.
