A painting by local artist Myndi Smithers who will be teaching “Acrylic Painting Basics” at the Rehoboth Art League – Contributed PhotoREHOBOTH BEACH, DE – September 4, 2018 – Have you always wanted to learn how to paint? Acrylic painting is a great medium for beginner painters because it dries quickly and is very forgiving. If you are not happy with an area you have painted, you can let it dry and paint right over it in a matter of minutes. You can learn “Acrylic Painting Basics” on Tuesday afternoons from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m., September 18 through October 9, 2018. This four-week class will introduce participants to composition as well as painting and brush techniques. Local instructor Myndi Smithers will also cover color theory and mixing acrylic colors. The cost for the acrylic painting class is $100 for members and $135 for non-members.
