Dover, DE – The Biggs Museum of American Art today announced it will host the 3rd Annual Happy Holidays Dover on Saturday, December 1, 2018 from 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. This festive event has become a family favorite. It includes plenty of holiday activities for the whole family. The main feature of the event is the “kids only” holiday shop, where children ages 4-12 can purchase gifts for their family and friends that range in price from $1-$10.
“Back by popular demand, this event has become a family favorite for children, parents, and grandparents,” shared Charlie Guerin, Executive Director of the Biggs Museum of American Art. “The items for sale in the ‘kids shop’ are primarily made by Delaware artists – so they are not only fun for kids to shop, but also fun for their friends and family to receive. Plus, the children’s choirs help put everyone in the holiday spirit!”
Activities throughout the day include:
* Special “Kids Only” Holiday Shop – children ages 4-12 can purchase gifts (ranging from $1-$10) for their family and decorate their own gift bags. Items include handmade ornaments, jewelry, key chains, bookmarks and more.
* Purchase treats/coffee from The House of Coffi throughout the day.
* Local children’s choir performances throughout the day (schedule below).
* An expanded gift shop of handmade holiday items, from Delaware By Hand artists, available for purchase all day.
