Longwood Gardens – Contributed photoREHOBOTH BEACH, DE – The Rehoboth Art League (RAL) will hold an outing to experience the art of horticulture and landscape design at Longwood Gardens, located in Kennett Square, PA, on Tuesday, December 4, 2018. On view at this internationally acclaimed botanical garden, which encompasses more than 1,000 acres of gardens, woodlands, and meadows, will be A Longwood Christmas display. With decorations outdoors as well as through the conservatory, Longwood pays homage to the Christmas tree with displays featuring traditional favorites and new inspirations. Lit trees decorate the landscape, and holiday music accompanies impressive fountain displays. Tickets for RAL’s Bus Trip include travel on a comfortable coach bus, entry to Longwood Gardens, and a guided tour.
Tickets for RAL’s Longwood Gardens Bus Trip are $65 per person and may be purchased online at rehobothartleague.org or by phone 302.227.8408, extension 203. Space is limited and advance reservations are required. Check-in time is by 7:00 am on December 4 in the Kmart parking lot on Route 1, and the bus departs at 7:30 am sharp. The anticipated time of return time to Rehoboth is 6 pm. The deluxe bus has restroom accommodations available onboard and light refreshments will be provided at check in.
