The Feminine Mystique with Pyxis Piano Quartet!

With a selection of music composed by women, Pyxis Piano Quartet honors the art of Barbara Bodichon, whose works are currently on exhibit. An ardent women’s rights campaigner of the Victorian era, Bodichon was an early participant in the Pre-Raphaelite movement whose preferred genre was landscape. Prior to the concert, Margaretta Frederick, Curator, will speak briefly about the artist and the musical connection to her artworks.
