REHOBOTH BEACH, DE – The process of using pen and ink to make a drawing dates back to 7th and 8th century China. Combining watercolor with pen and ink has also been used by artists and illustrators for years. The looseness of the watercolor contrasts nicely with the hard lines that can be produced by pen and ink. If you would like to learn about this wonderful blending of media, register for “Learning to use Pen and Ink with Watercolor: Still Life with Plants and Flowers” workshop at the Rehoboth Art League on Saturday, March 2, 2019 from 9:00 a.m. to 4 p.m. Local artist Rosemary Connelly will teach students how to combine watercolor painting with pen and ink techniques for unique, exciting effects in their compositions. The cost is $105 per person.

To register for the workshop, go to www.rehobothartleague.org or call the Art League at 302-227-8408 ext. 112. All workshops are held at the Rehoboth Art League located at 12 Dodds Lane in Henlopen Acres, Rehoboth Beach.
