Basket Weaving Workshop at the Rehoboth Art League

REHOBOTH BEACH, DE – Learn the art of basket making with basketry classes – Come take a basket weaving workshop at the Rehoboth Art League. Artist Heidi Wetzel will teach “Basket Weaving: A Colorful Basket” workshop on Saturday, March 30, 2019 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Students will learn to weave with colorful reed and complete a beautiful basket. All tools and materials will be provided. All abilities are welcome. The cost of the all-day workshop is $80 per person.

Heidi Wetzel is an award-winning local fiber artist and basket weaver. She originally came from Germany as a teenager and now lives and weaves in Easton, Maryland. She uses unique and indigenous materials, as well as materials she brings back from her many travels. Her work can be seen at many local studios.
