REHOBOTH BEACH, DE –The process of using pen and ink to make a drawing dates back to 7th and 8th century China. Combining watercolor with pen and ink has also been used by artists and illustrators for years. The looseness of the watercolor contrasts nicely with the hard lines that can be produced by pen and ink. If you would like to learn about this wonderful blending of media register for the “Watercolor, Pen & Ink” class at the Rehoboth Art League on Thursday mornings, April 25 through May 16 from 9:00 a.m. to noon. Local artist Edilu Nehrbas will teach students how to combine watercolor painting with pen and ink techniques for unique, exciting effects in their compositions. The cost of the class is $135 for members and $170 for non-members.
