New Castle, DE – Easterseals participants and staff are excited to announce the opening of their Easterseals Sussex Family and Friends Artfulness Exhibition at the Rehoboth Art League at 12 Dodds Lane in Rehoboth, which will showcase the art created by Easterseals adult day services participants. The exhibit is made possible through the Easterseals “Artfulness” program. The exhibit will be premiere on May 13 from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. The artwork, which includes paintings and clay work, will be on display until May 24, 2019.
Pip the Beach Cat will be making a celebrity guest appearance at the exhibit on May 13. Pip is well known at Easterseals day services as a frequent visitor. He also has a large following on social media. Find out more here: https://www.facebook.com/ImFeelingPipsy/.
Through the Artfulness Program, Easterseals is partnering with a number of organizations throughout the state, including the Rehoboth Art League. These organizations have provided on-site and community-based art workshops for participants in Easterseals adult day programs. The Artfulness program is available to Easterseals participants thanks to the “Bill Adami Fund for Innovation.”
