The Queen Anne’s County Centre for the Arts is proud to present the annual show of students in our STArt Program.
STArt (which stands for Students, Teachers, Artists) is a program designed to put professional local artists into each of our four county middle schools to teach an extra class for students nominated by their art teachers. This year our students learned new techniques, theories, and skills from wildlife painter Jonathan Shaw, weaver Jenny Walton, painter Theresa Schram, and painter/sculptor/muralist Will Hemsley.
This show is the product of their efforts and tremendous talents. We invite you to share it with us! Opening night of this exhibition will be Friday May 3rd from 5:30 to 7:00 pm at the Queen Anne’s County Centre for the Arts at 206 S Commerce Street in Centreville Maryland. Snacks and drinks will be served, fun will be had, art will be celebrated.
