Newark, DE – Join the Parks and Recreation department on Friday, July 26, 2019 from 5-7 p.m. in Handloff Park for games, face painting and other activities. The Newark Police Department will host a bicycle rodeo for children and a K9 demonstration. The Department of Highway Safety will also be on-site, providing free car seat safety checks. More fun and activities including pony rides and a kid’s train will be available for a small charge. Bring a picnic to celebrate National Picnic Month and enjoy an evening of fun and entertainment.
