Photographer SG (Steve) Atkinson who lives in Kent County, Maryland has published an annual “Kent County in Pictures” calendar since the 2014 calendar. The 7th in the series is now available.
This calendar is a great way to relive the previous year of events throughout the county. The months January through September are photos from earlier this year. October through December are from the last quarter of 2018. Each photograph was taken in the corresponding month.
Even though the use digital calendars for day-to-day scheduling is the norm, there still is a need for a wall calendar to hang in the office or in your home. Having one with comfortable everyday scenes you are familiar with can bring on great memories. It also would make for a great gift for someone who is now away from Kent County to have a little piece of the county with them.
This is the third of three calendars published by Atkinson this year. The other two are the 6th annual Delmarva Scenes calendar of Atkinson’s photographs of the usual, unusual, beautiful and not so pretty scenes of the Delmarva Peninsula. This year’s calendar is a 16 month 2019-2020 calendar and features sixteen photographs. The other features a dozen sunsets.
