Basket Making at the Rehoboth Art League -

REHOBOTH BEACH, DE – Learn the art of basket making with basketry classes – Come take a basket weaving workshop at the Rehoboth Art League. Artist Heidi Wetzel will teach a “Basket Vase” workshop on Saturday, November 16 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Students will complete one basket vase with glass liner. You’ll take your completed basket home with you at the end of the workshop. All tools and materials will be provided. All abilities are welcome. The cost of the all-day workshop is $80 per person.

Heidi Wetzel is an award-winning local fiber artist and basket weaver. She originally came from Germany as a teenager and now lives and weaves in Easton, Maryland. She uses unique and indigenous materials, as well as materials she brings back from her many travels. Her work can be seen at many local studios.
