The Town of Betterton in association with Kent County Arts Council and Kent County Parks and Recreation is holding a contest to design artwork for the 15 trash barrels at Betterton Beach. The purpose of the contest is to promote the message of maintaining a clean environment.
The contest is open to youth and adults who have a connection to Kent County, MD. Five designs will be chosen. Each winning design will be awarded a $125 stipend and be recognized on April 25, 2020. Limit two entries per person.
Entries are due Monday, February 3rd 2020 at 3:00 pm. All entries should be sealed and mailed or hand-delivered to Betterton Town Hall, 100 Main Street, PO Box 339, Betterton, MD 21610.
