Blue Blaze Associates presents Conversations with Women Making a Difference on April 23, 2020, at the Delaware Art Museum. The inspirational event features a panel discussion with three influential women offering career highlights, life stories, and hard-earned wisdom. All proceeds are donated to local nonprofits.
The three panelists for April 23, 2020, are:
Melody Phillips is Director of Operations for The Warehouse, a new teen center in northeast Wilmington that will open in April 2020. The Warehouse is part of a multi-million dollar community revitalization project, planned by REACH Riverside, offering comprehensive after-school opportunities for up to 700 teens. Melody serves as Chair of the Workforce Development Committee for REACH Riverside and is also Co-Founder and Board Chairwoman of I Am My Sister’s Keeper.
Latifa Ihsan Ali is a Muslimah American fashion designer and entrepreneur who is passionate about helping women get active and keep modest. Her company, LiaWear Action empowers Muslim women to pursue the activities they love. Latifa’s line of modest sportswear and hijab solutions encourage women to get out and run, jog, kick, bike, hike, swim, splash, dive, and dance their way to fitness.
