New this month, CCCA will be offering on-line art classes taught by our foundry artists!

Classes will be offered through the ZOOM platform. After registering, just check your email for a log-in and join the class from home at the designated time.

FOR ALL AGES:

Abstract Painting for Beginners by:
Have you ever wanted to paint “nothing and everything” all at the same time? This is your chance! This class will teach you the fundamentals of painting moods and dreams without any realism. Learn the technique and emotion of abstract painting. Let your creative spirit put it all on canvas!

FOR ADULTS:

Furniture Mosaic Class:
You won’t want to miss this special online Extended Mosaic Workshop! Learn basic mosaic techniques to cover a small table, tray or other items at your home. A “Grouting” party will be held when the Foundry reopens to share your project and meet your classmates!

JUST FOR KIDS:

All About Turtles:
Looking for ways to keep your kids engaged in learning? This series of four classes combines nature, environmental studies, science, and art by bridging them together to learn about turtles. Kids will experience how different subjects can overlap and blend when learning about our world.

Tentative: Thurs. April 16, 23 & 30, 1-3 pm, Onion Blooms Lunch and Learn. Three painting sessions during your lunch break to paint “Onion Blooms” with Foundry Artist Janice Knauss. $20/CCCA Members, $25/Non-Members

Tentative: Mon. April 20, 6-8:00 pm, Tudor Style Birdhouse: Make your very own Tudor style birdhouse with a slate roof with Foundry Artist Stephen Mead. $25/CCCA Members $30/Non-Members

Tentative: Sat. April 25, 1-3 pm, Agate and Wood Bead Jewelry: Create a semi-precious agate and wooden bead necklace or bracelet with Foundry Artist Janice Knauss. $15/CCCa Members, $20/Non-Members

Tentative: Tue. April 28, 6 pm, Write On!: Write On! is an adult writers group that meets every 2nd and 4th Tuesday at The Foundry. Come write, share your writing, or just listen! Topic: “Free Write” FREE!
