The Garfield Center for the Arts is pleased and excited to bring you a performance by Philip Dutton created specifically for this week’s GCTV offering.
Though having started piano lessons at the age of 8 and continuing to study through high school, Philip did not become a public performer until about 10 years ago. The generous and talented musical community around Chestertown has given him a second ‘career’ he never expected to have.
From the role of Harry in the musical Company at the Garfield Center, to the Pam Ortiz Band and Red Devil Moon, frequent Open Mic Nights at Andy’s and the Garfield, the Sunday night piano bar at JR’s with the Duttoneers, then to his own band, the Alligators, Philip is grateful for the encouragement and opportunity to make music with and for friends. His concert this Wednesday on GCTV will start with several of his own songs and end with a few covers of pandemic inspired songs from his favorite songwriters.
Philip’s presentation begins streaming live on the GCA Facebook page at 7:30 PM this Wednesday, May 13.
