Ocean City, MD – The Town of Ocean City is once again offering free bus service on New Year’s Eve. Bus services will be free starting at 6:20 a.m. Thursday, December 31, 2020, until 1:00 a.m. Friday, January 1, 2021, and run every 20 minutes. At all other times following 1:00 a.m. New Year’s Day, bus service is available from 6:20 a.m. until 11:35 p.m. daily, running every 40 minutes, $3 ‘ride-all-day’ per person.
Please keep in mind, due to COVID-19 and by order of Governor Hogan; the use of public transit is for essential travel only, and do not use public transit if you are sick. A mask is required to ride and must cover the nose and mouth at all times. Physical distancing is required to maintain a distance of 6ft between non-household members. Disinfectant wipes are available on each bus and try to avoid high-frequency touch areas.
On behalf of the Town of Ocean City, United Way fund drive free-will donations will be accepted at the fare box.
