Enter the Wicomico County Tourism 2021 Photo Contest
Our annual photo contest is open for entries. Submit up to 10 photos taken in Wicomico County for the chance to win one of three cash prizes. It’s free to enter. Shown is a cropped version of the 2020 first-place photo, by Dar’Juan Pitts.
Hebron Firemen’s Carnival
Head to Hebron for the fire department’s annual carnival, which began June 16 and runs through July 10. It is open Wednesday-Saturday nights and features rides, oyster sandwiches and more.
Red White and BOOM
Red White and BOOM returns to Salisbury this year. The festivities will be held July 4 at James M. Bennett High School. Gates open for the free event at 6:30 p.m. and the fireworks show begins at 9:15 p.m. The rain date is July 5.
Wicomico County Fair
Mark your calendars for the Wicomico County Fair, which is returning to WinterPlace Park from Aug. 20-22. Have fun with the family, see farm animals, enjoy live music and more. Admission is free.
National Folk Festival
Save the date: The National Folk Festival is set for Sept. 10-12 in Downtown Salisbury. Several performers for this free festival have already been announced.
