Angie Wicks Joins University of Maryland Shore Regional Health

EASTON, MD

University of Maryland Shore Regional Health (UM SRH), a member organization of the University of Maryland Medical System, recently welcomed Angela Wicks DNP, RNC-OB, CENP, NPD-BC as the Director of Acute and Critical Care.

Wicks began her career at UM SRH in 2003 as a staff nurse in the Birthing Center at UM Shore Medical Center at Easton. She advanced to serve as the Clinical Coordinator for Women & Children’s Services, before being promoted to Nurse Manager in 2021. In 2023, Wicks joined Bay Health Medical Center as a Nursing Professional Development Specialist focusing on practice, policy and quality improvement.

Wicks earned her bachelor’s and master’s of Science in Nursing from Western Governors University and her Doctor of Nursing Practice from Wilmington University.
