Chestertown held their Annual Earth Day Celebration on April 20, 2019. As part of the celebration RiverArts and the Kent County Arts Council sponsored a Recycled Art Contest with he bulk of the material used would have been discarded if not repurposed.
First prizes were given to the best piece by an adult and a youth. This year’s youth award was for Susannah Tilghman’s untitled work. The adult winner was David Ryan’s “Piano Man”.
