APRIL & MAY EVENTS AT SUMNER HALL

High & Wides Chestertown Release Concert
April 27th at 6:30 pm
Your $20 ticket includes a 90-minute performance, beverages and both physical and digital copies of the album. Only 70 seats available and we will not be admitting guests at the door. Your tickets and albums will be at the door on the evening of the show. Visit the High & Wides’ website for more information and to purchase tickets.

Environmental Film Series
May 3rd, 7:00 pm
A viewing of Garbage Dreams presented by the Chestertown Environment Committee and sponsored by Infinity Recycling. Offered free of charge to the public. Regular monthly meeting of this group.

Annual Museums of Kent Driving Tour
May 5th, 10:00 am – 3:00 pm
Start your tour at Sumner Hall and then visit several other museums around the county. Enjoy refreshments and guided tours. Participation is free of charge.

RiverArts Film Society
May 6th at 4:00 pm
Open to members and guests, the viewing of Do the Right Thing will be followed by a “Talk-Back Session” facilitated by Pat Nugent. Refreshments available for purchase. Reservations can be made through RiverArts.

The Uptown Club @ Sumner Hall
May 19th
Come to the Cabaret and enjoy music of the 1950s, 60s & 70s. This event is co-sponsored with RiverArts as part of its celebration of African American tradition-bearers. Further details will be announced on the Sumner Hall and RiverArts websites shortly.

Memorial Day Celebration & Wreath-Laying Ceremony
May 28th 11:00 am – 2:00 pm
In the tradition of the founders of G.A.R. Post #25, we recognize veterans at Sumner Hall and Memorial Park in Chestertown.
