On May 3, 2018, Focus Multisports Race Directors Ernie Felici and Rick Hundley donated $5,000 to the Dewey Beach Lions Club Foundation in recognition of their support of the Coastal Delaware Running Festival’s 5k, which took place on Saturday, April 21. The Dewey Beach Lions Club provided the Pre-Race and Post-Race venue featuring bottomless Bloody Mary’s donated by The Starboard. The 4th Annual Running Festival, presented by Grotto Pizza, featured 3 days of events. The Festival also supported the Delaware Seashore Preservation Foundation and Fort Miles Historical Association, in the efforts with State Parks, to restore World War II Fire Control Tower just south of Dewey Beach along Delaware Rt. 1, an effort started years ago by Lion and former Dewey Beach Mayor Bob Fredrick. The Running Festival also benefits many regional Sussex County charities with tens of thousands of dollars donated to date.

Registration is now open for the April 13-14, 2019 event. Visit codelrun.com to register and for more information.
