Notice from Maryland Transportation Authority
Weather permitting, the westbound Thomas J. Hatem Memorial Bridge (US 40) will be closed Sunday, June 24, through Tuesday, June 26, 2018 from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. the following morning. The westbound Thomas J. Hatem Memorial Bridge (US 40) will be closed temporarily to traffic. The detour route will direct motorists to MD 222, to southbound I-95.
Note: There is no toll in the southbound direction at the John F. Kennedy Memorial Highway (I-95) toll plaza.
Weather permitting, one lane of the eastbound Thomas J. Hatem Memorial Bridge (US 40) will be closed Monday, June 25, through Friday, June 29, from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. the following morning.
One lane of the eastbound Thomas J. Hatem Memorial Bridge (US 40) will be closed temporarily to traffic. Traffic drags may also occur, during which police will bring vehicles to a reduced pace prior to the work zone.
