REHOBOTH BEACH, DE – Nuno felting basically means to merge wool into fabric. This can be achieved with various felting techniques. You can learn these techniques at the Rehoboth Art League’s “Nuno Felting” workshop taught by guest artist, Katie Keister on Saturday, March 9 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. You will create a light-weight silk and wool scarf of your own unique design and colorful, textural embellishment. The cost of the workshop is $80 for members and $115 for non-members. In addition to the registration fee there is a $20 material fee to be paid to the instructor that includes hand-dyed silk and extra fine merino wool fiber as well as yarns, fibers, prefelts, and silk “hankies” for embellishment. Come have an exciting experience trying something new and bringing your own artistic ideas to fruition.

To register for this workshop, go to www.rehobothartleague.org or call the Art League at 302-227-8408 ext. 112. All workshops are held at the Rehoboth Art League, located at 12 Dodds Lane in Henlopen Acres, Rehoboth Beach.
