REHOBOTH BEACH, DE – Release your inner artist and develop a new skill with the potter’s wheel. This is the perfect class to introduce yourself to wheel throwing. “Beginner Wheel Throwing” at the Rehoboth Art League is a series of four classes scheduled Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, May 11, 12 13, and 14, 2019 from 1:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. Local potter Myndi Smithers will teach participants the proper techniques and methods of keeping the clay piece centered and balanced as well as how to pull the clay up into a cylinder and then shape it. The cost is $165 per person for members and $200 per person for non-members. The registration fee includes the cost of clay, bisque firing of pieces and glazing of the piece made on Day 1. Expect to get messy, be challenged, and leave with a new skill set!
