Selbyville’s 62nd Annual Old Timer’s Day Classic Car & Truck show is set for Saturday, June 15th. Hosted by the Bethany-Fenwick Area Chamber of Commerce and the Town of Selbyville, and presented by Bunting & Murray Construction Corporation, the will event feature classic vehicles from 1988 and older. A family-friendly affair, the event also includes food vendors, children’s activities, and live music from The Glass Onion Band.

“For 62 years, locals, visitors, and car enthusiasts alike have spent the Saturday of Father’s Day weekend in downtown Selbyville, and we love having the opportunity to highlight the town,” says Chamber executive director Lauren Weaver. “Guests find our inland towns to be charming and family-friendly; and the classic cars and trucks are a blast from the past.”
New this year, the Chamber will partner with Crooked Hammock Brewery to bring a beer garden to Selbyville. Folks can enjoy the local brewery’s signature beverages while playing games and enjoying the live music.

Also new this year is the inaugural Miss Old Timer’s Day Pin-Up Contest, hosted in partnership with Heather’s Home Works and Macey Holyak Photography. Women who wish to compete for the title of Miss Old Timer’s Day must be 18 or older, and should arrive dressed in 1940’s and 1950’s classic attire. To register for the contest, email Macey at maceyholyakphotography@aol.com.

Vehicle entry into the car show is $10, and the first 100 registrants receive a commemorative event gift. Judges will evaluate the interior, exterior, and engine compartment of each vehicle, with prizes awarded for each category by decade, as well as for People’s Choice and Best of Show.
