This week CODAworx, the hub of the commissioned art economy, announced their 2019 CODAawards. The winning Landscape entry was the Broad Reach public art sculpture that was installed in Chestertown’s Wilmer Part in 2017. It was commissioned by the town as part of their Public Art Master Plan. The town desire was for a piece of public art that would also be a playscape for children.

CODAworx, the hub of the commissioned art economy, has once again partnered with Interior Design magazine to announce the winners of the seventh annual international CODAawards: Collaboration of Design + Art. The CODAawards recognize collaborations that result in outstanding projects, which successfully integrate commissioned art into interior, architectural, or public spaces.
