ST MICHAELS, MD – Have the parts to fix your outboard motor but not sure how to get started? If so, the Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum invites you to bring its Mill Street Workshop in St. Michaels, Md., on Saturday, November 2, 2019.

From 9am–noon, guests are encouraged to join CBMM Marine Mechanic Joshua Richardson in a hands-on workshop to learn how to fix their own outboard motor. The cost for the program is $40, with a 20% discount for CBMM members. Space is limited, and registration is required to cbmm.org/bringyourmotor.

CBMM’s Apprentice for a Day Shipyard Programs take place year-round, offering demonstrations, workshops, intensives with visiting master craftsmen, on-the-water experiences, and customized programming. Programs take place on weekends and select weekdays, and include a variety of programs for every interest and age. To find one that’s right for you, visit cbmm.org/shipyardprograms.
