REHOBOTH BEACH, DE – The Rehoboth Art League will offer a junk Journaling workshop “Let’s Make a Journal!” Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, October 21, 22, and 23 from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. each day. Junk journals are books made from a mix of found and recycled materials. The purpose of a junk journal varies greatly from person to person. They can be used as both a decorative keepsake and a practical diary or planner. In the workshop, participants will paint, stencil, and embellish pre-cut papers that they will then bind into a 12-page journal. Each participant will leave with a creative, personalized, bound junk journal. The cost of the three-day workshop is $200 per person. Except for personal embellishments that you can bring from home, all materials will be provided for an additional $15 fee to be paid to the instructor on the first day of class. There are really no rules when making junk journals, they can be whatever you want them to be. Come have fun and learn this addictive craft!

To register for the workshop, go to www.rehobothartleague.org or call the Art League at 302-227-8408 ext. 112. All workshops are held at the Rehoboth Art League located at 12 Dodds Lane in Rehoboth.
