Grab a leash and your BFF (Best Furry Friend) and join the Newark Parks and Recreation Department for the NewBark PawLooza on November 2, 2019 from 10am to 1pm at Handloff Park in Newark, Delaware. You and your BFF will have a ball with exciting activities and vendors that will provide all the pooch pampering needs a pet owner could want.
Attendees can watch K9 demonstrations, participate in canine contests, trick and treat, pose for a photo in our photo spot, enjoy a romp around the park, or meet a new best friend at a local rescue group booth. All dogs must be leashed (6′ or less), non-aggressive, and up to date on their shots to attend. Vendor spaces are still available. Bring a pre-carved dog-themed pumpkin for the Carved Pupkin contest and practice now for the tricks for treats and the crowd favorite, the musical sit contests. Other contests include the tallest and smallest dogs, costume contest, best kisser, and besties look alike.
