A message from the Delaware Art Museum regarding Coronavirus

Museum New Castle

A message from the Delaware Art Museum,

Just yesterday we communicated that, based on the COVID-19 (coronavirus) information at hand, the Delaware Art Museum would remain open and all scheduled programs would continue as planned. However, as the situation continues to develop, and out of deep concern for the welfare of our guests and staff, the Museum has made the precautionary decision to cease all public programs and events for the next several weeks. Tonight’s Pyxis performance and Well-Read Black Girl Book Club, as well as the April 2 Welcome Back Happy Hour celebration, will be cancelled. The Layered Abstraction: Margo Allman and Helen Mason Members Preview scheduled for Saturday, March 21 will be postponed for a later date. March Studio workshops will also be postponed or cancelled. We will contact registered individuals with updated information as it develops.

As the situation progresses we will stay in communication and will share plans for additional programs as they become clear. The Museum will remain open to the public during regular hours, and the Layered Abstraction exhibition will still be on view as of March 21, 2020.

Our website, delart.org, will have the most update information as it continues to develop. Please also consider following us on social media to receive updates.
