Let’s all go to the movies in July! Newark Parks and Recreation with sponsorship from The Newark Partnership invite you to an outdoor family movie night on Saturday, July 18, 2020 from 8:30 – 11 p.m. at the University of Delaware STAR Campus north parking lot.
Relax in the parking lot, bring some popcorn & treats and watch the original Back to the Future, a family friendly movie, beginning at 8:30 p.m. on a 40-foot outdoor movie screen. This is a great way for families to enjoy the “drive in” experience from their very own car or lawn chair.
Parking opens at 7:30 p.m. Pre-registration is required. Admission is $20. Each admission includes a parking spot for one vehicle and one additional parking spot to set up chairs/blankets for seating. A maximum of 50 cars will be allowed in the parking lot to accommodate physical distancing requirements between spots. No RV’s or oversized vehicles will be permitted. Limit of 6 individuals from the same household per vehicle.
