REHOBOTH BEACH, DE – Release your inner artist and develop a new skill with the potter’s wheel. This is the perfect class to introduce yourself to wheel throwing. “Beginner Wheel I”
at the Rehoboth Art League is a series of four classes scheduled Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, September 14, 15, 17, and 18, 2020 from 1:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. Local potter Myndi Smithers will teach participants the proper techniques and methods of keeping the clay centered and balanced as well as how to pull the clay up into a cylinder and then shape it. The cost is $165 per person for members and $200 per person for non-members. The registration fee includes the cost of clay and bisque firing of pieces. Expect to get messy, be challenged, and leave with a new skill set! Masks must be worn. Social distancing will be maintained as much as possible.
