The Salisbury University Art Galleries invited artists, living or working within 150 miles of Salisbury, Maryland in all media, to enter a juried show. The theme of the show entitled “HERE/NOT HERE” is to capture and depict those often unseen places of Maryland’s Eastern Shore.
Pat Lang’s painting “After the Rain” was juried into the show, and is shown both online and in person at the Gallery. In addition, the painting is included in the in-print exhibition with a full-color exhibition catalog.
The painting depicts a property known to area residents who travel on Rt. 328 in Easton. Pat was drawn to paint this house due to its architecture and color of the house in contrast to the barn, adding cattails and puddles to depict the mood following a summer rain.
