When you are driving, do you notice the churches on the Delmarva. Many of them have been around since the 19th Century. This one is in the small Kent County, MD Village of Still Pond.
Old churches have a beauty of their own. When you look at the workmenship that has been put into these old church you can just imagine how important they were to the community.
I have been wanting to stop and take photos of churches, and I think this will become a project, especially since I have also thought of my photos as being a chronicle of life on the shore.
